The Committees of the Town of Mount Royal Centennial Celebration Society

Many citizens are enthusiastically devoting their time to organizing the Centennial festivities. Brainstorming meetings to which all residents were invited in the spring of 2011 generated multiple suggestions for projects. Many of the participants continued to work on the selection process and the elaboration of a balanced, varied and exciting program. Project teams were then set up to work on the planning, organization and realization of the activities being offered in 2012.

A few words from Municipal Council (October 2012)

"Members of Town Council extend their best wishes to all Town residents on the occasion of TMR’s Centennial.

It is with great pride that we come together to celebrate 100 years of success, 100 years of progress and primarily 100 years with an unusual vision, which turned a broad stretch of agricultural land into a wonderful community, known for its quality of living as well a magnificent urban forest and architecture.

We also offer sincere congratulations to the board of directors of TMR’s Centennial Celebration Society, dozens of volunteers, employees and all the generous sponsors who make these celebrations possible.

Finally, we wish to thank the many residents who accept our warm invitation to join us in sharing these privileged and unforgettable moments."
