Green Services

Mount Royal’s Green Patrol

During the spring and summer, Mount Royal’s pesticide inspector regularly patrols the Town to make sure citizens and businesses are only using authorized substances on their lawns and in their gardens. The inspector also checks signs on lawns to ensure they include all required information.

Besides ensuring compliance with our pesticide by-law, the Green Patrol also answers questions and provides feedback.

Mount Royal’s Green Line

The Green Line is a free service offered to all residents by the Town’s Public Works Division. The Green Line can suggest ecological solutions for all of your gardening dilemmas.

Do you suspect that your garden is being ravaged by pests but are unsure how to interpret the telltale signs?  Are you looking to improve the health and overall quality of your garden? Would you like to have a lush and environmentally sustainable lawn? Call now for a free consultation!

Between April and October you can call the Town’s pesticide inspector at 514-734-4222. We can help by:

Mount Royal’s Green Kiosks

Would you like a firsthand look at the products we recommend? On warm weekday afternoons throughout the summer and at our distribution events, keep an eye peeled for Mount Royal’s Green Kiosk! At our kiosk, you’ll find a display of environment-friendly gardening products. You can also ask questions about ecological pest management, gardening and lawn care.
