Home visits and office visits. Assessments. Liaison with doctors, social workers and hospitals. Counselling. Long-term home care planning. Wellness promotion. Referral to appropriate resources.
To promote physical, emotional and social well-being. Guidance with any type of problem or decision-making (stress, loneliness, future planning, etc.). Absolute confidentiality. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Mondays from 13:30 to 16:30.
For any Town of Mount Royal resident requiring help in maintaining his or her toenails and feet in optimum condition. Provided by a Victorian Order Nurse. Identification and assessment of foot condition; basic pedicure and cleaning of toenails; general health teaching and counselling. Monday to Friday, at 60 Roosevelt Avenue. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Price: $35 for a first visit, $30 each subsequent visit.
Telephone security and reassurance program. To promote independence and feeling of safety for anyone who lives alone or without family nearby. Operates Monday through Friday.
Help such as bathing, hair washing, supervised outings, meal preparation, errands, etc. Referrals for this service are made through the community health nurse.
Help in monitoring your blood pressure every Tuesday morning between 9:30 and 11:30 at 60 Roosevelt Ave.
To help optimize nutritional status, hot meals are delivered to individual's homes. Requests are prioritized according to need (during a recovery, inability to cope for oneself, etc.). Deliveries are Mondays and Thursdays. Limited space. There may be a waiting list.
Visit our annual CLSC vaccination clinic held in November for your flu shot. Appointments are mandatory starting mid-October.
