Your library houses a rich and diverse collection of books, compact discs, DVDs and more than 200 magazine and newspaper titles. You will also find a permanent collection of works of art and temporary exhibits and have the opportunity to attend meetings with authors and talks on various culture-related topics.

Whatever the season, Town of Mount Royal swings to the beat of an impressive number of cultural events. Actors, magicians, storytellers, painters and sculptors all pay us visit, to the great joy of Town residents. Whether you’re young or not so young, you’re sure find plenty to please you. Courses and training
Give rein to your inner artist! Express yourself through one of our many programs. From ballet to needlecraft, from pastels to pottery, our courses and workshops cover a wide range of fields and are offered to beginners as well as the initiated. Table ronde sur l’art de Mont-Royal (TRAM)
Founded in the year 2000, this local association brings together many of the Town’s arts and culture enthusiasts. Its exhibits add warmth and vitality to the Reginald J.P. Dawson Library, not to mention several local stores and professional offices. However, the association has an even broader vision and is dedicated to celebrating culture in all its forms. A true asset for the Town.
A cultural policy of our own
Because it firmly believes in the essential role that culture and the arts play in community well-being and development, because it is aware of the importance its residents have attached to them since its founding and because it wants to ensure their unhindered growth, Town of Mount Royal published its first Cultural Policy in spring of 2009.
